MOVIE REVIEW: The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard is starring a great MOT (member of the Tribe) Jeremy Piven playing Ari Gold as a car salesman. Has a fun supporting cast including that Asian guy from Knocked Up and The Hangover (he's popping up in EVERYTHING now), Ving Rhames, David Koechner, Ed Helms, and much more.

This movie thrives upon it's one liners that are so random you start laughing hysterically. The story is simple, a car salesman needs to have a HUGE sales weekend during the 4th of July. HE hasn't sold cars in quite sometime, the only way to sell cars is to get Jeremy Piven's team to help move cars since he's Don Ready, he sells fuckin' cars. If they don't sell THE ENTIRE LOT by the end of the weekend, they lose the lot to their competition.

To save the rest of the story from coming out...I'll tell you my thoughts...

I enjoyed the movie. I didn't really have much expectations when I went to see it. It was funny, I was entertained, I laughed. But I don't think I'd run to see it again anytime soon nor do I believe the film is going to be that funny a 2nd time around. (The Hangover is just as funny if not funnier than the first time). It's a short movie, you don't realize it. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. If you want a quick cheap laugh, The Good is Good for you.

I'm really sorry for that awful Pun. I didn't want to put that, but frankly it's the easiest thing to write for this.

So my review of the movie: 3.5 out of 5

Would I recommend seeing this movie?: See it once, get a laugh, that's about it.

Would I see this movie again in theaters?: Nope. Not worth it for the hour and a half length and $10 ticket value.

Would I buy this on Blu-ray?: No, the quality on blu-ray probably won't be anything that special that you'd need to rush to buy it on blu-ray, let alone many special features that would be necessary on blu-ray.

Would I buy this on DVD?: MAYBE. If I did, I'd consider buying it at Blockbuster pre-owned.

Would I rent it?: Netflix would be nice to see it one more time.

Would I watch it on cable?: Only on premium channels since they'll censor out the rest.

Would I buy the movie poster?: No, it doesn't look good or would fit for me...
