True Blood - New World In My View: I'm going to say a very bold statement now. Even though, I ended up watching last week's episode "Timebomb" 4 times (Once during air, once on demand, then on wednesday it was on HBO 3 and then immediately in HD on regular HBO and I was bored so I kept watching...I know I have no life, deal with it) not only was this episode the best of the season (so far, still got TWO MORE EPISODES UNTIL THE SEASON IS OVER!!!) but I think it was the best episode of the series. This episode was so intense, funny, and had such a great flow. THE ONLY problem I could say about it was it was TOO SHORT. It ended at 9:46 according the my phone. It was such a tease, but than again, the less you get, the more you want, which is PERFECT for the buildup of the last 2 episodes of the season.
There was NEVER a dull moment in the episode. It was a pleasure to be back in Bon Temps and out of Dallas (Dallas was starting to get dull to me and I wanted Sookie and the gang to get out of Dallas already and fuck Maryann's day up.)
There is a nice cliffhanger (I'm not going to say WHAT) for next week to keep you tuned in. If you haven't watch it yet and you're reading this, wait until midnight when on demand has it available to watch and WATCH IT.
I am going to be truly sad when this season ends and I have to wait until NEXT SUMMER for the show.
I'm not going to even ask if I would watch this episode again because it's a no brainer, YES!!!
Hung - Thith Ith a Prothetic or You Cum Just Right: Another good episode of Sex and Humor all combined into a 30 minute episode. This week of the show was probably the funniest episode of the season as the main character Ray gets into a fun discussion with his ex-wife's husband about how he managed to get a girl like his ex? Simply implied, Ronny, the husband of Ray's ex-wife, flaunted he was RICH AS FUCK and managed to get a trophy wife. Ronny's reaction was priceless as Ray was asking him innocently, "Ronny, how did you manage to get a woman like my wife...ex-wife I mean?"
The client Ray gets involved with in this episode, Horny Patty, during their scene in the hotel starts rambling to Ray about her life and blah blah blah Let's Fuck. Ray's facial expression, stunned, taken back, like WHOA where that came out of fucking left field, but hilarious, just watch it, you'll understand more if you see it rather then me blab or blog or whatever the fuck I'm doing.
Would I watch this episode again on demand or replay?: You bet your ass I would.
Entourage - No More Drama: I don't know if this episode was as good as last week's...but it definitely was much funnier. Vince deals with a possible break-in and nothing is missing...except his boxers...which leads him onto going out to buy some guns for protection. This is the first episode in awhile that actually gives Vince somewhat of a bigger role, since his character for the most part this season has been kept more hidden in the shadows of Ari and Drama's humor and E's career (that was probably a run-on sentence, but I don't care).
Drama spends the episode fighting for his spot on the show back while E finds the joy of working in his new job. We meet Scott Caan playing Scott the angry agent who already has a hard-on for E. Should be an interesting conflict for the next few episodes of the season. Bob Saget has a guest appearance on the show, and he is fucking hilarious. It's Bob Saget, enough said.
Only problem with the episode, Ari was in the show for about a minute...maybe two...kind of sad. But he should be back in a bigger role next week. I'm pumped.
Should I watch this episode on demand or replay?: If you need a laugh, totally. It's good.
Until Next Week...
COMING SOON: SHOWTIME SUNDAY!!!!!
What is Showtime Sunday you ask? It's a little show called DEXTER and CALIFORNICATION. Haven't watched them yet? THEY'RE ON DEMAND. ALL OF DEXTER and 2nd season of Californication for sure. Get your ass caught up on those shows, especially Dexter since it is extremely addictive. Maybe even more addictive than True Blood...
Bold statement coming from a bold man...right...good night...
